Information is power.  To celebrate World Press Freedom Day, please watch this documentary of a man in Liberia with a mission to inform his people. On a chalkboard along a main road in the capital city of Liberia, Alfred Sirleaf writes the news. As Liberia rebuilds after the war, many people cannot afford a television or newspaper; Alfred Sirleaf is doing his part to make sure that every person has access to news that affects their daily lives. He calls it The Daily Talk. We salute Alfred for his innovation and for recognizing the importance of sharing information. What are you thoughts?

It’s great to see that he saw a situation in his community and decided to do something about it. He is inspiring people around him to overcome the devastation brought by the war. This is one motivating video. Change tends to start with one person or just a few, but the impact reaches many.
